my injen red rubber hose is like crumbling off...

what to do...

breather filters??? if so where and is there a size?

or

replace with another hose??? if so where to buy?

I say call Injen and have them send you a new one... for free!
only buy it if they wont

 

Get a small piece of heater hose at your local automotive store. Cost you about 2 bucks, and the job is done.

 

so no one knows if the breather filters are a good idea??

No, dont put a breather filter in, because that hose is used for crank case ventilation amongst other things. The system will think that there is something wrong with the system and throw a code. Call Injen, i'm sure they will be happy to send you another hose. Also, tell me what they do, cause I also have an Injen and am curious

 

I would get a new hose from Injen or just about any auto parts store instead of a breather filter.
