I don't know exactly what your problem is but I had a similar problem.....I bought soya hid's but when I installed them "plug and play" they didn't work....I tried everything.. only to find out that soya screwed up t he h4 adapter. I'm guessing thats whats wrong with yours too. what I did was cut the plastic part off "male end" where the 3 prong connects to the female stock harness. Went to radio shack and bought a bunch of male taps.. took the two wires crimped them to the hid wires and stuck them into the stock female slits to see which combo worked. There should only be 2 wires because the hid doesn't have hi beams and there are three inputs on the stock harness...the third being for the high beam...hopefully this helps sorry kinda hard to explain over internet

Now that you did get them to work, how do you like them? Do you get massive amounts of glare? And did your kit come equipped with sheilds? Thanks

dude if you have had the high beam on the whole time they will not turn on....with hid's for h4 there is no hi beam...which equals no filamint so when on low beam they work but when u flick it over to high beams the lights will turn off....there is no power going into the lights through the high beam so they turn off if your located somewhat near me I'll be willing to help you out its not hard

That's DANGEROUS! What if you accidently flip them to flash someone? Then you're relying on your fogs until they warm back up. Not for me buddy.

Anyways, the problem is that there is only ONE 12V, the other two are switched grounds. So, when you have it in the "low" position one ground is connected and then when you have it in the "high" position the OTHER ground is connected.

You should use a relay when switching grounds on HIDs, but that's just my opinion.

I wouldn't call it dangerous...you just can't flash anyone which i typically never do anyways.

Wait grass hoppa, you shall soon see what I am talking about. The 2k2 kit at 4300K is not the best "looking" hid out there. Throw in some Phillips (German aka real HID ) bulbs and you will see just how much better it looks. Im also putting a kit in my fogs so im pretty sure it wont look like ****. I dont make mistakes when modding, do it right and do it right the 1st time. Good luck solving your wiring problem, I had fun doing mine today so I know how you feel. Post pics when your done, for all I care we will do a side by side

Ok let me explain what I mean by that. Many 7000K, 8000K kits out there are japanese, ect... made bulbs (you can find more info on this on www.hidforum.com ) and dont always turn out right.
I have a set of purple/bluish 6000K bulbs and the same for the fogs coming in (greekmax2k1: the fog conversion kit is like $350 shipped)
The 4300K is the brightest you can go (sunlight) after that you are actually losing lumens output BUT you still have more then 2X the output of normal halogens so
As for my lights being stolen...im in AZ...not NY, not to mention my car is garaged and while im at work in plain veiw of my car I think ill be fine.

Now im sure these will look sick, but I ordered the 6500K Worst comes to worst ill just sell these for how much I got them for ($290) and order another set of D2R bulbs, latley ALL hid sales have been final due to the lagality issue on the 15th of this month. Im gonna call today and see what I can work out....

Nice, I have to hold off installing until early next week, the setup looks pretty straigt forward for the H3. Im pretty sure I can find a good mounting location for the ballast and the ignitors ect... these thing are small!

I have to wait a bit longer be4 I take a pic of mine though, right now I have just the 4300K stock bulbs in, they sent me the blue 5500K but I ordered the 6500K purple, otherwise it would have been done today. The install for the Catz kit is all plug and play too, im somewhat impressed. Ill post it in another thread but ill hook up the link to this 1 when im done. What brand are yours anyway?
