Taillights for the 5th Gen

Anyone know if these will fit on a 5th Gen in the US (pictured is the Middle Eastern 5th Gen) (the 1st image is a little blurred on purpose by whoever made the ad)

Also, I noticed this on a stie also as an option on the ME Maxima:

Power Windows with anti-squeeze function employ sensors to detect the presence of any obstruction in the path of the closing window and automatically return it to the down position.

If I can find more pics, I'll post them.

Overseas Maxima's are more similar to the I30/35 than to the USDM Maxima.

Not the ME Maxima - It's nearly identical to the US Maxima.

Um... that's the exact body of the US I30.

I also believe that the "anti-squeeze" feature is pretty much standard on most Nissan vehicles sold in and outside of the US.

Ah - OK - Darn....

Well - what do I know - I own a 4th Gen.

Well, the 2k-2k1 is just like the 5th Gen...I guess the 2k2-2k3 isn't.

Edit--Ah! You mean the I30/35.

Edit²--Wait. I'm still confused.

Edit³--It's too late... I'm going to bed.

If i'm not mistaken, since the 4th gen came out we've had a different "Maxima". Ours is specifically a US/Canada model while the real Maxima is sold everywhere else.

Same thing has happened to the 5th gen, and apparently now with the 6th gen as well.

The "real" worldwide Maxima is sold as an Infiniti here in the US/Canada.

As for the power windows, it comes standard in the US-market Maxima. Plus we also get the 3 and 3.5L V6 Win-some, lose-some.

It is quite obvious that the ME Max is, in actuality, an American Infiniti.

Wonder how much they buy it for over there...
