Eyelids are finished and ready for shipping... PICS inside!!!!

The eyelids are ready for shipment for 2k and 2k1 maximas. I worked with the comapny Master Grade, who did our GD for the rotors and Kyb shocks. The price is $60 shipped. They are attached with double sided tape. They come unpainted, ready to be painted. these were suppose to be ready about 2 months ago, but you know how it is. 2k2-2k3 may be available as well but they need a prototype headlight.

When you make the 2k2-2k3 lids can you make them with curved cut-outs for the marker light, high, low beam? They made them like this for the IS-300.

i never liked eyelids on any car, just look cheesy, and they never look like they belong. I'd have to see these on the car though.

I like eyelids, but not really this style here. I think it will help alot if you can show us a painted/installed pic.

these can be easily trimmed to your likings. Its not a fiberglass that chips, it uses a cloth which is more flexible...

cloth-like, unpainted, and double-sided tape???

for $60 bucks or $120 bucks (even if it was shipped with no tax)? that's way overpriced for that. sheesh...seems like a home business idea.

no comment on the looks

eyelids are supposed to look clean and subtle.. those are neither, plus it doesnt help that the headlights they are on look like complete crap. might be easier to see if these were actually on a car, the color of a car.

just trying to help out with business sense on this one.. you might want to look at some stuff made for euros (bmw, benz, etc) and see how style they use and adopt that.

For anyone who is interested in these, I just wanted to let you know that I've bought from Boomer before (set of rotors) and the transaction went very well, fast shipment etc.

beam pattern

how would it affect the overall beam pattern with it on? i would imagine that we would lose some lighting in the close quarters.

just so you know, cloth is by far a more superior technique and costs much more....( cloth is made the same as carbon fiber except it uses cloth, sorta looks like carbon fiber too... just not as expensive) If anyone in so cal wants to see them, I have them.. not painted yet but its really nice... like i said, the picture dont do them justice..
