This has been going on for about 2 months or so

I think this is being cause by an exhaust leak i think im hearing, i dont know, maybe someone can help.

WHen im on the freeway doing about 70, i put it into 3rd gear and punch it (auto) the rpm is about 3k, the MPH goes up and the car is not pulling like it used to before my y pipe and b pipe. When I punch it the RPM goes DOWN about 100-200 rpms then slowly go back up. Once is passes 4k everything seems fine, but it still is slow.

Anyone experinece this before?

TC locks just past 3k in 3rd gear. My 2k auto does the same sometimes. If you are doing 70 mph, ideally, you should be in 2nd since that gear winds out all the way to 80+ and that will put you past 3k rpm when you hit 3rd.

 

What's TC stamd for?

The reason I put it in 3rd is becuase I was checking lower rpm power.
I think its more like 80 becuase when I punch it, it doesnt downshift.

Is your intake or midpipe securely fastend?

And make sure your Nitrous is disarmed and not dumping unchallenged fuel into your car at WOT.

 

Torque Converter in this example

 

TC = torque converter... Auto will not shift down into second past 60 or 65 mph... it will stay in 3rd. You can stick it into 2nd manually though

 

who would do something like that?

 

It won't allow a manual 2nd gear override at 70+mph.

 

well my nitrous has been diarmed for about 2 months, havent touched the buttons. I dont have a WOT switch.

I cant go to the dealer
