Mods
My favorites dont actually add horse power, but they free it up. The Unorthodox pulley is a beautifully made piece and it takes probably 7lbs of rotational weight off the crank shaft. I got a blem, supposed to have a slight flaw in the anodizing (looked perfect to me) for about half price.

I ditched the stock (very heavy about 25 lb) wheels in favor of chrome Centerline Forged RPM wheels (very light at 14lbs ea)
If you look in the dictionary under UNDERSTEER they have a picture of the Maxima. The rear sway bar is a must, bought the Cattman (Progressive) but now I know that the Stillen is 10-25% better because it does not depend on the 4 rubber bushings to work. The Stillen is very spendy though, more the double.
Then I would add a cold air intake, and then a catback exhaust.
If you are on a tight budget, start out with the lighting mods,
(clear and flashing corners, fog light rewire and clear spoiler brake light) because they are all inexpensive to do and I really enjoyed doing them.
Have fun. You will find the forums to be an amazing source of information.
