I was interested to know if anyone here has seen an Aluminium Shifter **** for a 2000 5 Speed Manual. In fact I'm looking for a new non-OEM shifter ****. I've checked out custommaxiam.com, but I didn't care for their shifter ****. If there isn't an Aluminium Shifter avalible would any body be interested in buying one. If I can't find one I would most likely make one (would take a little while though). It would be made out of one peice of Aluminium. Possibly solid or maybe with holes through out to allow for breathing. If anyone is intersted or knows where I could buy one I would like to know. Thanks alot.

Check out Dallas at Altima.net..he makes them for the Altima that are back lit to match your interior lights with a shift pattern or Altima in the Lighted area. I have one on my car and it is unmatched in quality. He was thinking of making them for Maxima's.

Sorry I can't get you a link, but I think someone did a group buy a few months ago for what you're looking for, and they'd put whatever inscription you wanted on it (I think the **** was a basic sola ****). Search is kinda messed up, but just go back a few pages and it should be there.
