Ground Control/Tokico Blue

I just replaced the Eibach Pro Springs with a Ground Control Kit, using the same Tokico Blue shocks. I lowered the fronts to about 3/4 inch above the tires, and removed the bumb stops. The shock has only 2 1/2" of travel. Will the shock work when it is compressed this much? Is there a certain other shock I should use?

Those Tokico blues wont last that long with that kind of drop. I would rather use agx's or Koni's instead.

Thx Nathan, do the struts have to be adjustable or shortened in any way to give me more travel. I am maxed out on the drop kit. I really wanted to go down to the top of the tire w/o any gap. Btw, nice headlites, where did u get em from and how much? Do they make for '00 max?

They dont have to be adjustable shocks but the adjustable shocks such as the agx's, koni's or Tokico Illumna's will last you longer than say the blues or KYB gr2's.

Thanks for the compliment. I got the rings from Umnitza, there was a big group deal on them, they costed $180 but the price is higher now. Unfortunitly they only fit the 2k2-2k3 headlights.
