Hey guys...I was just wondering, somewhat out of curiosity and also just to prove someone wrong...what color are the stock lenses that are around the taillights in 2001 Anniversary Edition? I know that the SE of 2000 had the smoke color ones, and that most of the years following 2000...SE had the clear and silver ones. I am really curious, so please help me out!

Also, i was wondering what kind of stock body kit comes on the 2001 AE SE. I see the front lip and rear one, but I was not sure if there was supposed to be one that went all around the sides too. Please help...

2000-2001 GXE = Red lens surrounds
2000-2001 SE/AE = Smoked lens surrounds
2002-2003 SE/GLE = Chrome lens surround

For some reason, I was under the impression that you could not get the smoke lenses in 2001. Is it only the AE that gets them? Cause I have never seen another one.
The car I am refering to is a 2001(by VIN) and it has smoke color lenses. I am just going off of someone else's word that it is AE. What are some other distinguishing features that I can tell by? Or is there some number in the VIN that you can tell by that you know of?

 

AE has lip kit, smoked headlights and polished 17" wheels... the regular SE and AE of 2001 both had same smoked tails

no diff in tailights...2k2 started with chrome/clear
