Exhaust Leak Help

Hey guys, I took my Y pipe off and left the B pipe on. I had some work done to the rear section and b pipe connection. After taking the pipe off, the exhaust is MUCH louder and backfires a little bit. I dont think its sound like I have an aftermarket muffler.

Are these symptoms of an exhaust leak?

Re: Exhaust Leak Help

No,its not. The backfiring is from the extra flow from the bpipe and rear section but the stock Y. Air flows back and hits the air comin out makin it backfire. My PT1012 does it a little bit, but that is the only exhaust mod i got.

Any extra flow in the system will do it. Basically, that is where the backfiring is originating from.
