oil change

is the screw to drain the oil the one right next to the oil filter and the cat converter?
just wana make sure

yeah, should be pointing diagonally-downward towards the rear of the car, on the back side of the oil pan ("back" as in, facing the back of the vehicle)
It's a bolt, be gentle with it and don't overtighten too much. I use a torque wrench ('cause I have one :-D), and torque it to 20-25 ft/lbs.

it is the drain plug almost straight down from the oil filter on the front passenger side but that is no where near the catalytic converter. the flex section of the y pipe is closer but even that is a good bit off.
