yeah...except his is an '02 (intake is slightly different). ANYWHO>>>>I just went off that.

I bought mine used, and did not have any instructions. (thanks, IGOR911...lol)

It's a pretty brainless process, but there were just a few questions I had...

1.. the bracket coming off the down tube that holds the intake to the motor... doesn't exactly meet up with the bolt hole on the motor.

2. the electrical component that attached to the stock intake (about right where the down tube goes down on the injen)...there is no way to mount this on the injen...so I do not know where to attach this to keep it from flopping around.

3. (post install q.)....When I accelerate (hard), there are some slight chirp or squeal sounds (sounds kind of similar to a loose belt) Is this NORMAL??

4. LAST ONE...promise. The filter looks kinda dirty (thanks again, IGOR911) is there any way to clean it??

THANKS!!

1. no it does not. I had Alex at southwest autoworks look at mine and he said it was put on perfect and that the bracket piece is always a little off. unless you bend the tube of course
2. tie downs, zip-ties whatever you call them but dont put it near the engine
3.are you refering to the sound of the intake itself pulling in air ?
4. did you buy this used ? if dirty i would judge on how dirty before cleaning it. Because as it gets a little dirty it gets for efficiant at trapping more dirt. bang it "kinda" hard on the driveway to remove excess dirt. If an absolutly huge amount comes out then clean it.

hose it off then soak in the cleaning solution and then hose off again. let dry and re-oil ... even coverage but light. do not put lage quantites on. you will need to get the cleaning kit if you do not have one

3. It may be the sucking of air...not sure. But, it is not "constant" IE, it's not the same noise at same RPMs every time, etc. Sometimes it happens when I let off the gas abruptly.

4. yeah..bought it used. And, I do not have a cleaning kit for it. Know who sells 'em??

Thanks for all your help...
