?? HOW TO: Stillen Touring Front Lip ??

I bought a stillen touring front lip, and im getting it painted now, and the shop was very confused about it, there painting it for me for 150, but he originally said 350 to paint and put on...I was like wtf...ill put it on myself then. Maybe ill be able to talk him into putting it on for me for a normal price, but if I cant...

has anyone else installed it on there own? Any tips or anything would be appreciated. I know it's just bolt on, so it shouldn't be rocket science, but if there are things I need to do, or don't need to, to make it easier...

thanks

Sometimes its good to test fit before painting. I got the aero kit for mine and I had to sand a little of the edges to get to fit right.

Screws? I just used two rivets on each side. I recently had to remove mine to pop the fog lights out (HID's ) and redid the whole tape thing. Just to point out, I had mine painted and installed for $300. I regret it and wish I did it meself but I didnt have the time. Id usually say dont use the stillen tape but its fine for the front (by the lower grill) You dont need to run the tape along anything but just the lower grill. It will stay put just fine, besides that tape is a pain in the @ss to remove once on. The only part id say run tape along the whole thing is the rear but I guess you dont have that so really, dont worry about it. You just need 4 rivets and about 3ft of doulble sided tape to install it. Or 4 screws, whatever floats your boat...
