need help with hp

what mods will help with low end acceleration on a 2000. All this talk about y pipes and catalyic converters making you lose horespower has got me all confused. I just wanna keep up with those big daddy 2003's.

a y-pipe, gab, oscai and you should be able to match the performance of an '03. that is, IF you are a 5spd, and the '03 is an auto. if you are an auto, there's not much hope w/out boost.

i'm not saying that aut0 2ks are slow. but, my buddy has one, and i sometimes think i could start in 2nd, and beat him to 90. ok, maybe not THAT bad, but i walk him pretty fierce in any kind of race.
