ok, i just got in an accident last night.

my cars probably not totaled as its fairly new 03 and i owe alot 22k still.


so i called nissan to see if i could get the part #'s for the 01 anniversary edition maxima front bumper/lip cus i like the lip and theres none for the 03 as of now. but they couldnt find it listed anywhere.

does anyone have these part #'s so maybe i could assist them in locating it?

also has anyone else done it? does it fit?

He's the parts guy at Southpoint Nissan in TX. He gives us good prices on stuff.

 

As naerok said, you sould call Dave B. His number is in the 5th gen FAQ's. He is someone worth knowing, as he can get you most any Nissan part and does so in a very professional manner.

I don't see you having any problems changing to an AE bumper with front lip, however you will have to get a 00-01 grill to match. Because the 02-03 bumper has different dimensions, the grill size is not the same.

 

I thought the grill is connected to the bumper.

Though you will need to get 00-01 foglamps to fit the 01 AE bumper.

 

after further concideration i decided against the o1 ae front bumper/lip conversion. i kinda like the grill better on the 03 and im pretty confident a front lip will come out eventually.

plus i dont want mismatching hamburgers and possible confusion if i ever was to sell/trade it in.
