New struts stock springs

is it worth putting in new struts to improve handling without putting in new springs. I hate the way the car handles at high speed.
Which struts do you recommend ?

I am not sure on the handling, but KYB GR2's seem to be a good set.

I just received a set today. Still need springs, can't make up my mind.
