digital climate control

digital climate control

my whole climate control doesnt light up at night. does anyone have this problem? Ive checked all the fuses, and they arent even blown. can someone tell me where i can buy the bulbs to replace them, or if it is even the bulbs at all?

there are 4 $3 bulbs. Call Dave B, he'll hook you up. Replace them all at once because the others will fail soon as well.

If you are comfortable removing the radio, you can easily replace the bulbs. They are *inside* the box tho. Its easy, you just have to be careful.

Thats strange that all 4 went out at the same time..

Sorry for being retarded, but is your illumination switch turned on?

I can tell you that vibration will kill those bulbs.. I lost 2 of the 4 at one time after removing the stereo. Same on our pathfinder, I got in the dash and lost a bulb. Very sensitive to shock. I wasnt even rough with the head units, they just get old and delicate. But yeah, all 4 at once is a stretch.

btw, the culprit...

all you will see when you separate the housing, the bulb goes thru the board and twists... you'll only see backs like this
