Teins or Maxspeeds? Comparison before purchase.

What do Teins lower front/rear? I know Maxs are like 1.7/1.4. Are Teins stiffer than the Maxspeeds? Right now, there is a pretty good GD going on for Maxspeeds (87 + shipping). How much would it be for the best deal on Teins? Mostly, I am interested in ride quality - I do not want a harsh ride in the least, but I do want a dropped look.

I have maxspeeds on my 2k2 and I love the ride, the drop is nice but not too low and it looks awesome...and there is basically almost no sacrifice in ride...

Do they help corner better than stock? Better/worse than Teins would? They would be coupled with KYB-GR2's. Thanks.

I got maxspeed with GR2 and its way better than stock. it may be rough at first but it gets soft after a week.

get the teins. some people had maxspeeds and went to the teins. teins the the most equal drop. then again, i am VERY VERY biased..

I think the Teins drop 2.2 in the front and 1.6 in the
rear, if I remember correctly.

I'm as low as I need to go with Maxspeed/Gr-2. I think the Teins are a little stiffer. I love the ride with the Maxspeeds.

The Teins are 2.2" in the front and 1.7" in the back. The drop is an even drop too. Installation is the same using either spring.

If you get the Teins, I highly recommend the KYB GR2 struts to complement them. The ride is stiffer than stock, but completely managable to live with.

Pictures of the before/after shots are available on my website.

Get the Teins. I had the Maxspeeds and liked them but not satisfied with the wheel gap.

Question is, do you want to trim your bumpstops or pay to have somebody trim your bumpstops, and do you want your GR-2's to give in a year? Your call. Peace_

Yeah, I agree. You don't HAVE to. However, I feel the Tein's are more maintenance then Maxspeed's. All out suspension wise they're harsher. Which equates to all it's associated components taking more strain and wearing out quicker. You get the look, but you end up paying for it. Unless you're throwing AGX's on with them(or the new Illumina's), be prepared to replace struts soon. I feel ultimately you would end up paying in the long run what you would intially for some JIC's
