does it look like exactly like this when it came out of the box:

 

I am going to make that broad assumption that it does. Looks like its "molded" that way from the same kind of plastic that the sunroof things are.

Here is a questions too: Do these things provide a functional value? Like keeping the rain off the rear window when driving? Or are they of the aesthetic value?
