This is for owners with Eibachs.

Did any of you experience an increase in noise from the suspension?

The front end is making a clunking noise when I go over speed bumps and some driveways. It's not all the time but I think I need to go back to the shop (Modacar) and have them check their work. I had read prior threads and asked them to make sure they swap the springs sleeves to the Eibachs but they didn't. They pointed out the Eibachs come with rubber sleeves already installed. I don't know if the noise is due to the missing lower sleeve or from not torquing everything down properly.

I like the ride characteristics and how the front end doesn't lift any more when I accelerate.

When I installed my Eibachs I did not swap the spring sleeves. Fortunately, I have not had any clunking noises. Read this thread if you haven't already done so. Good luck.

How much are they charging for the Springs ? $300?
Cause putting the Eibachs on took me 2.8 hours which is under $150 ...given the hourly labor rate is $50/hr.
I installed them for $375.

-Peace
the springs are 230 and they charge 68 an hour they said that it takes 3.2 hours to install so i didnt know if it was good or not but the place is bad *** they do some nice custom work on 300z's they have one that is pushin over 700hp.... they do good work but are a little pricy is it worth it........

I've had the same thing

Mine makes noise up on the front right...kinda a clunk... and groans when turned all the way to one side... when it is cold especially. Its raining in cali right now and you can hear it. Both my dealer and the shop that installed it just put lube on it and it *temporarily* goes away.

How do we get this totally fixed?

I know that Eibach didn't have this on their car!

Modacar in Pleasanton, CA charged me $160 to install the springs. There were having an inventory clearance and I got the springs for $150! I wanted the H&R springs because prior threads said they rode softer but I couldn't pass up the deal on the Eibachs. A shop in San Jose (Made in Japan) wanted $580 to install the springs w/alignment!! I paid $65 for an alignment after the springs were installed.

Thanks for everyone's responses.

damn...i thought i got a bad deal

i got the springs for $219 and install was $120...they just quoted me this price before they actually tackled the project...they said that since they have never done one and since it is a bigger car it would take longer (normally on civics etc. they charge $80 for install)...since this was the only shop in town i took the deal and waited while they were doing the springs...took them 4 hours...i got soooooooooooooo bored waiting there but oh well...i guess i got a pretty good deal
