Grille-tech rusting after 3 days...
Yup, a little rust spot on the front of the grille about the size of a pencil eraser, but as I look closer, i can see why its rusting, they forgot to powdercoat that little spot...
so i think i might try to neutralize it with some baking soda then try to put some clearcoat over it to help seal it. If that doesn't work, then i'm forced to try and get another one.
I'm not knocking the product, its a very nice grille but they just messed up and skipped a spot.

Contact Grill-Tech.
A couple of weeks ago I was looking for some screen stock and exchanged several emails with them. I recall they stated their screens are double powdercoated for durability.
They should be willing to do an exchange.

I had grille tech lowers on my car...they sucked. Made it through one winter in Seattle and they were rusted. Bought my upper grille from JMS....totally sweet!
