I have a question. BTW your car (both of them) look great. You mentioned all the intakes that you have used and finally went back to stock. Why did you go back to stock? I'm thinking of going to a Frankencar intake and would like your experienced opinion. Thanks.

Frankencar: nice intake, didn't like the sound (too loud for me) and the blue color it came inOriginally Posted by 2k1seae

Injen: beautiful looking intake, great sound during WOT, engine started pinging because of it (maybe)
JWT: I had a Stillen intake on my 2K Max with great sound and good onn the butt dyno. My engine was still pinging. Dealer told me to go back to stock and he will do two ECU flash upgrades (one just got released a week ago).
Stock: car seem to really haul serious butt now with no hesitation at all. I'm going to keep the stock airbox on but might do a K&N panel filter and leave the rest alone. I might do a cat back exhaust.
I'm not saying that the intakes I used caused my pinging problems but I wanted to correct it as best I can. The Nissan ECU can be sensitive whenever you modify something.
dude, your paint looks amazing in those pics!
