Ceramic or Semi Metallic?
Ceramic or Semi Metallic?
Has anybody tried using a ceramic brake pad on their Max? I was looking at a few replacment options. I know that the organic are reported to not displace the heat created by friction as well as the metallics, I was just curious if any of you had experience with them? I'm just looking at a few different options and figured maybe the organics would cut down on brake dust. But at the same time I don't need peadle fade, nor do I want to prematurely warp my rotors. I'm fighting with the dealer as we speak to try and get them to honor the NTB00-088 TSB. So I don't want to do something that will bring on more brake judder problems any quicker than necessary after I get it fixed.
