15 Days !!!! Rant
15 Days !!!! Rant
I was ****ed and I'll try to be brief.
I bought a 2K2 6 Speed Max from a non-Nissan dealer, two days after I took delivery the SES light went on. The car has high mileage for an 02 but the deal was good. I brought the car back and they made an appiontment at the local Nissan dealer to fix under bumper to bumper warranty. There was also an aftermarket alarm on the car that appeared to be installed by first graders (no electrical connectors, just tape). The alarm had its own keyless entry an it stopped working. I also found what was left of some under car neon lights
. I wanted all this stuff removed and OEM keyless entry. So, I dropped the car off and it sits in the dealers lot for 2 days before going to an electronics store to remove all aftermarket wiring. Then it goes to Nissan where it sits for 13 more days. Each day I get a different story on the dealys. However, I did get a car to use while mine was being worked on (which I put 1000 miles on)
Well got the Max back and here is what was wrong....
code po445 and p1448, Vent control valve seized in side cannister.
Replaced and corrected.
15 ****ing days.
Ok, I'm better now
It sounds like the
er that had the car before you might have focked up some stuff. That sucks. But as long as you enjoy the ride that's all that matters.
Mine's been pretty reliable, but despite the ignition coil and knock sensor annoyances I've been dealing with I still love the car.
