Cannot be done, because the the relay for the Hi beams goes is the same relay for the HIDs. What would happen is if you wired it to use 4 relays instead of the 2 that are there, every time you hit the high beams the HIDs would turn off (this is what you want, but at night you will lose the HIDs if they are on, and there will not be enough illuniation). It would have to be re-designed to use 4-6 relays and alot of other things. Basically, making a separate circuit for each of the 2.

E55amg2. I was thinking the same thing about the relays. im at work (best buy) with my car in teh shop playing and flickering my hi beams, testign teh relays. I think it'll be much easier to just, make an independent relay bank setup. to click the hi-beams on and off, after i find the wire that comes from the headlight stalk. Just a pain in the *** to do. Id love to be able to hi-beam people without my HID's fickering.

Since I got the 2K2 headlight, I though I had this thing solved but for now I cant use my high beams either. The HIDs stay on when I falsh the high beams but the fog lights shut of while the high beams are on for some stupid reason I have HIDs in my fogs as well so no flashing unless I shut off the fogs then flash. Dumb if you ask me, its stupid little things like that, that really get on my nerves.

they do if you turn them on and off all the time
i.e. keep then on when you are just running into the 7/11 or pumping gas etc.

just honk man... my hid stay on with my high beams, but when i flash both flash (when hid's are off).. my high beams are almost independent of the hid... u'll hafta use a relay man and rewire the light switches. they made it that way so people wouldn't leave their high beams on when they turn the car off with the lights still being one (when stuck in high beam position)

When I did my 2k2 light conversion, if you pulled the light stalk, they would flash the Highs only.. whereas pushing them would be both.

I only used a relay on the highs.. Ground was to the body and relay powered of the driver side high beam (+)
