To anyone with frankencar/apexi please help!

The other day I made a post stating that the intake was rattling.. Come to find out, they said something was on backwards..

Well today I was on my quest to fix the damn thing, and I'm stuck...

On the frankencar page, it shows the bolts going in this way:

Looking further in their website, I don't see any nuts holding the screws in...

Now here is my car

The screw won't stay in like that.. I'm fixin to go to lowes and get me some nuts to hold it on..

Hopefully when I get back someone will know what I'm doing wrong.

I mean, it only makes sense to use nuts to tighten it, but they don't have any on their website, so I sorta feel like its "rigging" it. And I'd hate to make a simple mistake to blow the MAF

Thanks guys!

Put the screw going the other way...so the thread goes into the filter adapter.

They meant the bracket connecting to the strut housing...The way you had it was correct, thats the way I have it to.

Mine rattles too...I'm waiting on the bracket to see if that helps. Did you try adjusting the MAF tube so that the MAF wire is perpendicular to the road? Maybe that might help because the bracket will push the filter out more.

Hey mad_maxx03, did you ever fix the problem? I just put the bracket on today and no more rattle on startup, still haven't tested it on the road.
