I would think with all this HP that we would need to upgrade the 6 speeds clutch.... SSR: Do you think it would hold up??? What would be the est. time it would take to build and be ready to sell when you get a demo car??? PM me with an est. price.... Thanks much...

SOmeone in CALI do this, be the 1st 02-03 with a turbo!

The QR is completely competent for boost.. It's been proven. Let's see an SR20 make 260+whp at such low boost and low redline. It won't happen. Also.. I'll show you what a QR25DE can do with some internal work in a few weeks. How's 500+whp and close to that in TQ sound? Overall, the QR25 is a WAY better block design over the SR20. The SR20 is sand cast.. and weak. Why do you think you don't see any realy fast drag SE-R's running around? There was 1 SE-R that hit the 9's.. and that was Jamie Farrer's fully gutted race car. The head design sucks *** on the SR20.. Sand casting makes for sh*tty head ports. The QR25 outflows it by a long shot. Also, there are no rocker arms to worry about slinging off on the QR25. The SR20 has been doomed with this problem since day 1. Then, the QR25's block is cast using a much better, efficient process. The SR is sand cast.. and is very very soft. I've heard of instances where people pull head studs along with the threads out of the block at around 700hp. Also.. the main girdle is strong, and the crank is strong no doubt... but it doesn't compare to the split block design that the QR has. If you were to build both motors using the same type of parts (crank, pistons, rods, cams, sleeves) The QR25 would decimate the SR20.. hands down. I wouldn't hesitate to push this motor fully built to around 1000whp or so. The only advantage the SR20 has is that in street/stock trim, it can handle a little more power than the QR can. But, it's old, and becoming obsolete. There will always be 400whp SR20's running around.. but you will see more and more potent QR's coming around. I promise you after we finish paving the way with this motor we're building, you will see a lot more people jumping on the bandwagon.

The 219whp run was without any fine tuning with the AFC at 6psi..
The Second run was 8.5 psi with tuning..

GReddy made a twin turbo kit for the Z with 350hp and it ran 12.79 in the 1/4. Comptech's supercharged Acura CL-S with 369hp (<----I think) only ran a 14.2 b/c of the limitations of FWD. I would hope the maxima could run somewhere in between these times.

I dont see why a 3.5 cannot run a least mid thirteens boosted w/ stock
internals

w/track tires- and as u wanna go faster u will need that traction
Its no nescesarily legal to try to trap 105mph in between
traffic lights

Its good thing though- turbos a more civilized than SC for normal driving- I cant get over that I was
chirpin on 3rd gear at the track and my car is basically stock- So with turbo I could just burn
a fire line all the way on the 1320 -cool!!!!

I'm hoping the turbo will give about 50-60% increase in power which would mean 255+60%=408hp-17%(auto)=338HP at the wheels. Don't get your hopes up to high though, we all know that the 3.5 Max may not be producing 255 at the crank to start with.

On a stock motors #'s, usind a sim I was able to make it push out 450hp at 6500rpm, with 419tq from 3500-4500rpm this is just with 6psi at those are flywheel #'s. Then again, I tweaked the turbos pressure ratio just a bit to get those #'s on a stock 3.5 with a "normal" T4 im sure its still gonna put out over 400 at the flywheel. Funny thing is no matter which way I test the ET, the auto with those #s on the stock 25.9" diameter wheels with better tires ofcourse shows to pull an 11.7 at 117.9 now I know these #s are not 100% accurate but it gives a good idea of what to expect, its accuracey is with a few % so if the auto holds...dont be too surprized if some pull low 12's consistantley and possibley even an 11 sec ET. Once again this is with 6psi you dont even want to know what #'s I got with 12psi with a 30shot of nitrous

Finally we're going to be a force to reckon with.
