SSR Engineering 3.5 Turbo Kit

Hey everybody, some of you might be familiar with my work on other Nissans specifically the Spec-V Sentra right now. If your not check out my website www.ssr-engineering.com.

Basically SSR Engineering needs a donor car to work off of that can make a trip to Southern Cal and expect 6-8 weeks downtime for tuning, fabrication, installation. If any of you are interested my E-Mail Address is SSREngineering@aol.com or Sales@ssr-engineering.com (our you can pm me or reply here)

The kit will include Manifolds, turbo, fuel, intercooler and intercooler piping.

**This doesen't exclude any of you 6th gen or 4th Gen guys that want a real quality kit.

Not trying to bust the bubble on the 3.5 but how about also a kit on the 3.0.

Sure, we'll do it, just didnt think there was a big market since there is a few companies producing kits right now. We could compete with there prices however and we do use the best components available.

It might be slightly higher since we wouldn't use stock manifolds with a "collector".

If you want a turbo kit made for your car then PM me I'll shoot you all the details, pricing, and lead time.

ssr glad you decided to jump over here. id loan you my car for the turbo endevour....but mines automatic, in the bodyshop for the next 4-6 weeks (accident) and im tight on cash...so i don't know what "cost" would be. you'll find plenty of participants im sure though. if not...we'll work something out when mine is out of the shop.

I would prefer manual for the Dyno Chart but I'll do an auto as well. Either works for me, first come first serve

Looking good. Ive seen the Sentra kit that SSR Engineering produced, and it is HIGH quality with many things included for the price. It's great to see they are looking for maximas now to participate in creating kits for VQ owners.

Hopefully someone will donate their car for them to create a kit, cause id love to see what they produce. Looks like the 3.5 people finally have a FI option

will this kit (3.5) be meant to use our stock MAFS?
if it blows from intakes, a turbo will obliterate it.

the Stock Mafs will be located before the turbos like how skyline upgrades are. It wont be on the intercooler piping.

As long as its be4 the boosted side, then its all good.

edit: yeah looks like the battery is definetly going in the trunk if the turbo setup is gonna have dual filters

IMO-We would still need a different MAF sensor. The MAF in the pic is set up just like it is on our cars with an intake being utilized. If the stock MAF can't handle the added volume of air that just an intake provides, how do you think it would hold up against a turbo pulling a MUCH greater amount? I for one would love to see a turbo kit for us 3.5 owners. I would even buy one. Just trying to work out one of the known "bugs."

This isn't a 100% complete picture, it has to have the Heat shield installed on the exhaust side, but this is just for some idea for you guys!

Im a spec V owner and we are very very very happy that SSR has developed a kit for us. These guys don't play around. When he first told me "it's all about the tuning" I was a bit skeptical but he was right. NO matter what, these guys know how to tune a turbo car. THey will make sure it wont break! I will be a proud owner of a SE-R SpecV Turbo when the kit is completely done and available for sale. Im glad they are expanding on the Nissan community. I envy the donor that is going to donate his kit for the prototye. Have fun fellas...its an exciting time. Peace!@!
