Finally we're going to be a force to reckon with.
Im in no way trying to compare the max to a GT2, just for the record the 02 and 04 GT2 runs a 12flat. Slap on a pair of slicks to the GT2 and you'll be surprized at how quick it runs! The mph will be slightly lower but the ET will be improved quite a bit.

The weight I entered in for the sim was at 3500lbs (wanted it keep it as close to actual weight with driver as possible)

The way I tweaked the turbo, it starts to boost at 2000, and is a full boost at 2500 torque stays over 400 from 2500-6000 so its pretty flat, but a huge amount of torque non the less. Pulls 1.83 60ft on the sim so with slicks the auto will run an ET definetly in the mid-low 12s, that is IF the power produced is close to what I came up with on the sim. 22" slicks wont even be needed with that much power, stock height (25.9) finishes the 1/4 at almost 6200rpms in 3rd.

Im just sharing what I got on the sim, and what to expect if the real #s match the #'s I got. If blubyu2k2 got at 13.6 with a basically bolt on setup and slicks, think about what # that car would run with 150 more whp? Just a thought

I stand corrected, I don't know where I read 11 seconds flat but I was under that impression. Oh well, the GT2 falls back down to just a "good sportscar".

Also, I've read you can shave as much as .5 off your ET with a good auto tranny setup.

I hope somebody who's got the funds will jump on this cuz it looks they may be movin on to the Altima guys. I'm too damn poor to be putting an experimental turbo in my car. Plus I've got to work 5 days a week driving 20 miles away so not having a car for a while is not an option for me. If I had money and no job I'd be all over dis!

I think you should ask SSR Engineering. Try emailing SSREngineering@aol.com or Sales@ssr-engineering.com The first page does have a little more detail as to what it may cost. Definately hit them up. Just think about it you'll be the first VQ35DET! Don't forget to update us on the org if do go through with this tho.

Altimat,

Is it you that's sending in the ECU to Technosquare? I think you guys beat us to that also. Hopefully the ECU flash for the Altima will be usable on the Max.

It is I, but they already had a Max ECU there when mine arrived. I believe they both went to Japan in the same box.

A flash reprogram like they did to the 350Z and G35 Coupe. My understanding is that they go to Japan to be decrypted by the parent company Technos, and then they are tuned here at Technosquare in Torrance.

You may be right.

I hate these teaser posts. I see so many where somebody did this or that and "pics to follow" or "timeslip soon" or "dyno to be posted tomorrow". Just wait to post until you have the relevant info to share, please.
