Touch-up paint

How come the touch up paint for my '03 Max does not match?
I bought the correct color code from my dealer.
My car is Glacial pearl (white), and the code matched on the computer.
I figured that it just needed a couple of coats to build up the correct color and let it dry.
But it just got more silver looking, like it was for Titanium.
Now I have to get that cr@p off my car.

What is the least damaging way to remove it?

I don't know what would remove it, but I had the same problem, only I tested it on the underside of the trunk first and found out without ruining the exterior of my car.

Paint thinner, applied to a rag, then the area in question, and then cleaning the whole area with alcohol...

I had the same problem with my car. I ended up buying some paint at paintscratch.com. It's expensive since they sell the base and pearl coat together. The base alone works fine for small scratches.

You can try to scrape off the old touch-up paint with your fingernail. That works sometimes.
