never rev higher than 3000 rpm, it's what has worked for me in this $2 a gallon period of gas prices

Just changing just the muffler should not have a big effect on the performance side.

How to save gas:

Yeah don't Ravving it over 3K all the time, and accelerate like a grandma when picking up speed.

Obey speed limit!! (Very hard to do for some)
check tire pressure once a month.
make sure to do all tune ups on time.
Lose some weight (Remove all "extra" weight from your car)
Theres more, but I'm too lazy to list them..

Everytime one changes the stock muffler- without
changing the b pipe(where the real exhaust gains comes from) u are just adding noise = fart can
In our case our stock variable muffler works in harmony with our variable intake /CVVT to give
us optimal efficiency/performance

I'll say this- our stock mufflers w/ the internal valve structure are better than ANY muffler you can buy
out there performancewise- Now if u want stainless steel (look) and noise (rice) than u may lose performance

if u just have the muffler .. your messing with the pressures... there are engineers that build the stock muffler to have the right pressure.....
if u want gain...u have to buy a whole exaust system... even then ... you're still messing with the pressures a little..

Do you really think that the muffler makes that much of a pressure difference? This is such a terribly conceived old wives tail...it just isn't true. If you have an aftermarket muffler with the capability of more flow, it will help out the engine at all power levels. Just changing the muffler alone will not have a negative effect on your engine. Changing the entire exhaust system (to a much greater flow) while still in a relatively stock state, will, however...
