Ok now I hear SCed cars don't pass smog.

So with bolt-ons what can I expect my 2k1 auto Max to gain in the 1/4 mile?

UDP/Intake/y-pipe/b-pipe/cat as mods

I run a ****ty 16.2 @ 84mph @ 2100ft altitude right now.

With those mods what can I expect to gain in the 1/4? .5?

Damn depressed about the SC. I SCed a Escalade that passes smog, why not the Maxima?

I'm running 15.1 with GAB/Y/test pipe/cat-back. You've got plenty of room to improve on that ¼ mile time.

What did your car run stock?

Remember I am at 2100ft and hot as $hit. So I need an improvement time.

Thanks!

5th gen Stillen SC does not come with a CARB number, so it should not pass smog inspection (the visual portion).

You poor, poor Caliafornia folks. Now that I think about it...why are all the performance shops based in the state with the strictest emmisions/safety checks? That sorta screws us east coast dudes...

Yeh. I have always woundered that to. It always seems that the majority of all the mod/performance shops are based in cali

to many factors to determine. I also ran a 16.3 stock and can't wait to try the track again. To bad I got ties up doing AutoX and haven;t been to the 1/4 strip.

its all because of the temprature, you cant imagine how much faster the car is with a 20 degree difference. here in New england you can already notice the car's torque when it gets below 65 degrees when it was like 80+ the whole summer.
