I have Teins pair up with KYB GR-2s. The result is satisfied. With 2.2" drop at front and 1.7" drop at rear, these springs are the lowest for maximas right now. However, you can't pair them up with stock shocks because your ride will be extremely stiff. I had them for almost 6 months, there is no major or minor problems with the car. Corering ability is kick a.s.s!!!

here is the link

hope this helps

Teins are great. They have the most even drop, which is why i got them. Ride is great, and the car has not bottomed out even with 5 people in the car...

Nice lookin set up man! So you have had no scrubbing problems or anything out of the ordinary? I have H & R's, I still want to neutralize the fender gap just a little more.

Did you have to mess with the camber. I know that the 2.0 range is right at the limit of requiring camber adjustments

the kyb and gr-2 will not dissappoint you... however cut the freeking bumpstops before you install it.

An alighnment is not needed, 7000+miles on mine and I have perfect wear on the tires.

I have KYB/Tein with 18's Very very rough ride. Your Max will shake and rattle more so than ever before. Handles well in cornering and high speeds and looks good but damn you can feel the bumps. I miss the ride quality with the H&R's

Mine's dropped with Teins and stock struts. Love the look, the ride sucks. I knew this going in, just too excited to wait - very bouncy and unforgiving on EVERY bump. Just waiting for my GR-2s.

so should I buy the springs now? because i found those springs for a very cheap price........so......i am just wondering should I do it now.but then i heard if I only lower with the springs, the car will be very bounce and hurt?!! so stock can't support?!

Please just wait and do it right, mine dont bouce at all in any way. Its not too rough but trust me, the 1st week is bone-jarring. You're gonna hit some bump that are gonna hurt, but after they settle in they are fine. I have no complains about mine, btw im riding on 45series tires.

The stock struts dont have enough dampening force to properly control the higher spring rate of the Teins. What at means is when you hit a bump its gonna bouce and go all over the place.

Koni's are good and should outperform the GR-2's but read here:

Buy the springs, then buy some shocks. The only reason I put the springs on and will put shocks on soon is b/c a friend of mine helped me at his shop and I didn't have to pay for it. If you're going to have someone install them for you do it all at once. Trust me, you'll hate the ride with stock shocks.

Do you have aftermarket shocks w/ your TEINS or are you still using the stock ones??
