Me vs Chrysler LHS

Me vs Chrysler LHS
On my way into work tonight, I'm cruising around 75 or so in the passing lane when all of a sudden I have a set of headlights inching up on my rear bumper. Unfortunenatley I'm unable to accelerate as I'm stuck behind some guy in a Dodge Stratus. He finally gets over and I get past him and get over in the middle lane to see what car is riding my tail. Two punks in a Chrysler LHS inch up along next to me both glaring at me as they get along side. Can't have that, so I pull it down into third (automatic) and stomp on it. They're instantly three to four cars back, but trying to keep up. I near 95 or so and shift up. As I'm approaching 110, I notice they are well beyond 10 car lengths back so I take my foot completely off the gas and shift back down to third and they begin to catch back up rather quickly. I allow them to get about 1 to 1 1/2 cars back and gradually accelerate once again, never giving them a chance to get back within 5 car lengths. I slow back to my normal 75 and listen to this LHS go by sounding like its just about to shoot a rod through the hood. My advice, check your oil level every now and then, and don't buy a car that my grandfather would drive.

my friend has one, its a pretty nice car i must say, but car is too heavy for the engine to keep up with a 2k1 and lets not talk about 2k2
the engine sounds pretty good, it screams really nice. it doesnt have though a real good top end like a maxima, after about 5500rpm you start loosing power. it has pretty good low end torque

I personally think the LHS, has great features.. my father had a 94 LHS (1st model).. and although plagued with mechanical failures.. the auto tranny was silky smooth (when working), and hte car felt really good..
The size is HUGE too.. best entry level luxury car!

I think it was more the satisfaction of beating a couple of kids who thought they were cool in an LHS. Not a bad car, but thats like me tryin to race in my old camry - doesnt work! Some people can move on tho, and some... well some keep tryin to race in crappy cars. I dont bother wasting my gas usually. Altho there was this civic this morning that made me hit almost 1/2 throttle... but Max likes a little morning rush of gas

I got into an informal race with a 300m Special owned by one of my Co-Workers. I was travelling west on one of the main drags by my job. He already had a 5-6 car lead. When he saw me, he stomped on it and I did likewise. Needless to say, I reeled him in so fast that it made his head spin. All he could say was "That ****er's pretty fast!"

One of my extra cars is a Concorde with the LHS engine option (3.5L 24V)...as mentioned above, it's really stout off the line and the engine actually sounds sweet - smooth yet with a nice growl. I'd say it handles about as well as my Max, too, but you can tell it's a big car. The Max definitely takes it in any race, though
