just wondering...
on my 2k2 max when i go through the first 3 gears..(but especially the first 2) when i let go off the gas the car slows down drastically, it almost jerks backwards, and then if i apply gas again, it jerks forward....it took me a while to get used to not getting that by letting off the gas slowly.....

i was just wondering if that was happening to you too, or should i have it checked by the dealer.

i also heard about the no gas TSB on the 5 spd, but is there one on a 6 speed, i could find anything on it...

Yes there is a TSB for the 6-speed hesitation. Make an appt at your Nissan dlr

umm im reading over the hesitation TSB right now....but its for when you acceleration hesitation, not when i let go of the gas...

I think what you are feeling is fule cut. I have it too and I hate it. I think all manual Maximas have it. My 2000 SE 5-speed had it and it was annoying.
You can't drive smoothly in 1st or 2nd gears when moving slow.

I think there was some TSB for 2000 5-speeds, but I didn't see any for 2002 6-speeds.

 

yup thats it. But if there is no TSB and i go complaining to the dealer shouldnt they fix it free since the car is under warranty and i guess there is something wrong with the car...
