Not saying that it isn't illegal but I had complelely clear lights on my old car for about 2 years and only got pulled over once.. Not for the taillights but because I had red turn signal bulbs in the front.. The officer didn't say anything about my clear taillights.. I always kept red bulbs in them eventhough I had to keep buying them b/c the color always would fade.. Some people where I live still have the all clear taillight but most of them have the Altezza's or how ever you spell it.. I'm thinking about ordering a set..

If you lived in CA, you would have been pulled over everyday that you had those lights installed.

Nobody rocks those old frosted clear taillights anymore. However these new clear/chrome deals look pretty good IMO...

Well lets start talking about the best way to make cop friendly. i say take the housing apart and spray the top portion with red translucent paint. or spray the reflective top portion with red reflective paint. What do you think would be the best to keep the cops away besides just not getting them

Hate Them!!!

I wouldn't want those on the Maxima, I like seeing a difference in color on the Maxima. Plus have fun getting pulled over every day and night. Are they really worth it. Now if they had some refelctive red and yellow in them it would be ok but since they are not reflective, no good!!!!

I could drive around with a flaming torch on my hood and the cops couldn't give a sheit. They have better things to do around here like dish out speeding and DUI tickets.

i think you will be ok with the first one, but make sure u get some red and amber LED bulbs for ur tail light and turn signals. cuz regular color bulbs won't do a good job like the LEDs.

But the second one, you will definitely be pulled over by the cops at night cuz the most popular reason is "your tail light's chrome reflection is too strong, that could make your rear driver blind." That is the most popular pull over reason for those ricers have alteezas.

first one is good

IMHO, I think the red/clear combo would be better.

I have a wild idea. What if someone made a Red/clear combo with LEDs similar to those on the Cadillac DTS.

The clear would blink amber/yellow.

If someone made that, I would jump all over it.

Ah, MaxZero with the nice chops again. I am considering buying that clear/chrome one and then painting the top 1/2 red...

I don't know...95.5% Positive feedback seems ok to me? I scanned some of his feedback...at first glance some seem to be valid, but several of them are ridiculous or unfounded too...
