The first Harley wasn't S/C'ed, but ones afterward were. They are supposedly as fast or faster than any stock 5th Gen, but it does depend on the driver of the truck...

I raced my friends 02 black harley from a stop and beat him by 2-3 cars. i had an awesome launch while he chirped his tires. later that night we ran from a roll and got R@ped...it was horrible......

The S/C harley will beat us from a roll but you might have a better chance from a stop with a manual. Stock vs Stock....

I raced a Lightning (stock).. I guess Its the same engine as the Harley edition.. I was at his rear bumper the whole time until about 120, when he let off. Are those harley's the same S/C engine as the Lightning?? tuned or detuned etc.

The HD F-150 is a detuned version of the Lightning's motor. There is a 40 hp difference between the 2 (HD: 340, L: 380)

I did get into it with a HD F150 and gave him the flux.

those trucks are really fast but they run a lot slower in hot and/or humid weather

I have a good video of a stock '99 SVT L vs an '02 GT 5 Speed (also stock). The GT takes him off the line, but the truck runs him down by the 1/8th and wins by .3-.4 seconds. Anyone want to host this sucker for me? I'm at work and can't get access to my website

truck ran a 13.78 1/4...no stock Max can touch that!

I ran a 03 Harly edition over the summer at a stoplight. He claimed he "wasnt really trying" but he definatly was... I took him off the line, and he slowly, oh so slowly, crept up on my... a car length. They have like 450 ft/lbs of torque, so watch out! But they're also very hefty... Sweet looking truck tho IMO. Lightnings... well those will just tool on ya... seen several at the track pulling mid to high 13's.

If you are going 40 u definitely wanna keep your car in 2nd and then just punch it 3rd will give you a sluggish start and the other car will already have a jump start on you

ya keep it in 2nd - 40 isnt a great speed to start an auto Max either ... 50 will put you in powerband more. but anyways, ya just start in 2nd and you might keep up with him. They are definatly fast, the supercharged ones

The harleys will win most of the time except for special conditions. dont expect to win or even keep up.

if he doesnt pull or walk away it was a good race...good luck

Guys, the HD F150 runs mid-upper 14s!! OR the same as the 2K2+ Maximas. They're not as fast as Lightnings but (of course) being SC, they can easily be made to smoke anything sold out of Nissan showrooms.

F23A4 is absolutely right. The Harley F-150's have 40 less hp then the Lightnings and weigh more. They, like the lightning, are probubly underrated in the HP department. Or maybe its the massive torque that gets them movin'. The Lightning weighs 4600lbs., and with 40 less hp and more weight, the HD F-150 isn't going to be that fast. I think I heard around 6.5 0-60 stock. I've driven a Lightning, and they aren't THAT fast, but have sh!tloads of torque. I would own my buddys Lightning. But then again im not a stock 2k2

ya they're faster factory. like someone said, the hp figures are probly underrated. I've pulled 14.6 in the 1/4 but yet a harley edition pulled on me before. It'll be close, but the truck will probly take ya

Uh, the 6speed Maxima is quicker than 14.7 seconds; I pulled a 14.7 second ET a few times in my AUTOMATIC 2k2 without mods!! (ref. sig.)
