A/C Compressor on FULL TIME with Climate Control???
My Max has Climate Control, and when it is set to auto it seems like the A/C compressor is on all the time, this should not be. I have cranked the temp up to 27C (80F) and outside temp is 20C (68F) and there is heat coming out the ducts and yet I can still hear the compressor running and the rad fans on. Maybe this will change when it gets colder outside. I live in Winnipeg Canada so we'll see below freezing temps soon enough. What I'd like to do is put some kind on indicator light somewhere near or inside the climate control display panel that lights up when the A/C Compressor is on, cause when your driving with the stereo on at highway speed you can't hear the compressor.

When you push "AUTO" from my experience, A/C compressor will ALWAYS BE ON. Thats why there' s "ECON" button that A/C compressor will be OFF.
Besides making the air COLD or HOT, it also control the humidity of the air, and when on "AUTO" mode, it needs the compressor to work in order to remove the extra moisture. Thats why when you push the front windsheld FOG option, its always on AUTO MODE.
on Econ MODE, it just controlls the temperture to its nearest setting without the a/c compressor, thus Economy.
