I am sure you have been in this forum for a long time and had prior experiences w/mods...and I would think you of all the people, you would be a supporter rather a doubter. As some of you had indicated that too much air into the throttle body can cause turbulance and in process reduce horsepower. Though the theory may hold true BUT until one's see the architect of the intake as to how it's designed to channel incoming airflow, there are so many variations which make that theory as bogus as the hp gains. Who knows, these guys may be genius or NOT?

Even though I don't posted much in this forum but I found myself logging to this site at least 3 times a day just to see any new mods/anything exciting or innovative to enhance the already mighty VQ's engine. I don't just blindly buy anything without first investigated the design/engineer of the product and from other owner experiences. To be honest, I think sometimes people here are running out of things to mod their car and posting topics that had been discussed numerous times and contradict their initial impression. Afterall, this is an open forum and everyone is free to express their interests. I am a supporter to any new bright idea, provided that the facts are documented professionally.

Giovanni usually is the suporter. But not on a stupid azz claim like this.

Kloogy: have been modding since I was 15, and I am now twice that age

for someone that is 30 years old, you dont know the first thing about courtesy. Grow up and respect other people. How would you like to be flamed for a post that you believed in? The validity of scopiums claim is something nobody can prove except himself. maybe he added some mysterious sauce or something and made the car fly. I don't know too much about cars, so that is why im on the forums. the way i learn (dont know about you guys) is through the help of other people. people taking the time to reply to a newbie post every week. im not asking you to be a saint, but why dont you stop playing God and try to understand that everybody is not a super genius about cars.

sorry, but i feel like i have to post. i dont mean to come off as a super human being (which im not), but i believe that this is the only way that you would listen to what i have to say.

I'm actually doing my senior design project(requirement for mech. engineering degree) on dual intake pipe setup...of course it will not be on the max..probably more like on a beater car...anyways, my group and I are going to do a lot of calculations(fluid dynamics) and then come up with a design and fabricate the actual intake with the ram air setup...we're gonna test the power gains on the highway(by timing) and dyno also...i will let yal know of the results as the project progresses
