Removing car jack from trunk

I guess this is the most stupid thing to ask the forum ... well there is nothing more stupid than not knowing how to do it.

Anyway, I tried to remove the car jack from the trunk but it seems to be fixed pretty well to the body. Can someone tell me how the jack can be pulled out and put to use?

Also does anyone know where the other associated tools required to raise the car in case of a flat tire .. like wrenches etc. and the one that is plugged to one end of the jack and use to raise the car.

Forgive me guys...

Tighten the scissors a bit. The jack is placed in its storage spot and opened slightly so it won't move around.

I did this this past week end. The screw on mine couldn't be turned by hand. Had to use a screw driver thru the hole to loosen, then no problem. The tools are in with the spare tire, under the cover.
