Well I emailed them and they said I can send it back. I just did. I don't know if they're going to replace it or refund me.
I'm guessing that the ones that you guys have are only a little off.
But mine was really noticable. The spacing under my tach cut out was less than a millimeter! about 1/2-3/4 mm. That's pretty small! The spacing under the speedo on the other hand was about 3 times that or more.

I'd would've posted pics, but like I said I already sent it back.

Ok now back to my @#$#'in homework.

Well, I tried to see if mine would fit, and it didn't. The little bit that was out of alignment kept it from sitting flush against the back of the bezel. I am going to email and see if I can send it back. This kind of sucks, I was looking forward to getting this mod done.

I just got my rings today. I plan on keeping the dash bezel black though. I think it will make the rings stand out.

I disagree. i think the rings are a very subtle and classy touch. Most people will think it's stock, or not even notice them. On the other hand, the bezel really stands out too much, which is why I changed my mind on that one...

I agree...the rings look sweet, couldn't be happier. However, the bezel just doesn't do it for me.

all i can say is "Damn" these things are hot, i installed them sat took me like 15-20 mins and oh my good i think no pic can describe the fine classy touch these rings give the gauges. i agree with other mem IMO the bezel stands out way too much. ill post pics soon, but again no pics capture the real beauty and the shiny reflection these rings give off.

Installed mine on Sunday and the black bezel really makes them stand out. I had a friend look at them and he thought they were stock. Mine fit perfect and look fantastic. Good job, Paradox. Definitely worth the money. Received them in just a few days.

Is that the bezel from autoaccessorystore.com? I'm still waiting for them to send me a new one since I sent back the defective one.

I installed my rings from Paradox on sunday. I took plenty of precautions and took my time with the disassembly. I just got my ride and I didn't want to break something yet. In order to get mine out, I had to set the steering column as low as possible. Remove the black plastic frame that surrounds the instrument cluster. I had to use a stubby phillips screwdriver to remove the vent tube screwed on to the panel on the backside of the right side. I think this connects to the A/C for climate control. Anyway, pulling that black piece out was a BEAR! When I pulled out the instrument cluster, I carefully unclipped the clear plastic cover. Here, I put on rubber gloves so that I wouldn't get fingerprint smudges inside it. I pressed the rings in place without removing the existing ring around the speedo and tach. I cleaned the instrument cluster carefully as to not leave any lint and carefully cleaned to clear cover with Meguires clear plastic cleaner. I actually used this opportunity to use some clear plastic polish to remove some scratches. It worked. Meguires rocks! Put it together and it looks great. But I had 3 problems. When I looked carefully at the 2 big rings, one of them had a slightly rough finish and the other had a shiny smooth finish. Not consistant. And, on the inside of the small rings, there were some small spots that look like tiny burn spots. So I tried to position the ring where the spots were at the bottom and hopefully unnoticable. Thirdly, the adhesive on the rings was a little excessive in places and I had to carefully remove what squished out after pressing them on. CAREFUL here, because the black finish on the OEM bezel is very thin and scratches off easily. So for $35, I was a little disappointed. Only I notice the problems, but they are still there.

Hope this helps.

I'm sorry to hear that you were not happy with the quality of the rings. I think you may have just received a bad set. If you are unhappy with them, you can send them back and I will replace them. Only one other person had a problem like that and I sent a replacement set and he has not complained about them.

I don't want to send in my complete set. I just need a 1 large ring. It would be a big pain in my butt to remove them, send them in and reinstall them only to replace one ring. In fact, to remove 1 ring and mailing it in would require the same amount of work. If you'd like, I can send you a pic to show you and you can mail me 1 big ring. That way I only have to disassemble my instrument panel once instead of twice. Besides, I'm a newlywed. I can't spend THAT much time on my Max.

Well, I finally got an email back from autoaccessorystore.com and they said that the boss was out of town and I will be refunded on Monday, when he gets back.

I'm gonna just put my rings on w/out a bezel cover.

EDIT: I finished putting the rings on an hour ago and I couldn't be happier.

Love the rings.

Just installed my rings. Very happy with the look and ease of installation! Showed up in only 3 days! A quality product. Oh, and these things look sick at night!

For anyone interested, I posted pics/how-to on my site:
www.cardomain.com/id/housecor

Also, here's a pic of the rings without a bezel:

theres a thread around here somewhere re making the 00 01 rings fit the 02 03. i think the thing is the 01 rings are bigger so the circle had to slightly enlarged with a dremel in a 02 03 to fit 00 01 rings.
