I gave him the TSB number of NTB03-023. He said there were no TSb for hesitant Maximas for the year of 2002-2003. He said he will check his system and will give me a call back in a half hour.
I thought this was in Nissans system already? Is he giving me the run around?

If you need a copy, email me through here and I'll email it to you.

Should I uninstall my Injen and put the stock intake back on when I take the car in for the TSB ? Thanks in advance!

Just print this out and bring it into the dealership.

this might sound paranoid but is there anyway to prove that they replace the maf with the newer correct part and program it correctly?? other then the hesitation getting better... right now at times i have good acceleration but other times i have to mash down the peddle to the floor because it bogs down when i try to pass or merge into traffic.. its off and on... either way if theres something better out there i want it replaced... should they be doing the replacement even if my problem may not be as bad as others? or do i have to wait for the problem to be extreme and my warranty runs out..

Will the nissan service department take the car for a ride to see if it is indeed hesitating?
There is a lot of questions about this paticular TSB, thanks in part to how we all feel about dealing with the stealerships. I would prefer to get a root canal then to bring my car in

Yes, and they will for sure find no problem. Its only apparent to the person who drives the car, and other maxima owners. Just make sure its known that you feel the lack of power and hesitation as you accelerate. Also, bring a copy of the TSB. All they are gonna really do is flash it with a new program. Took about an hour.
Bottom line..... if the PIN of the ECU matches the one on the TSB it has to be upgraded. If they give you a hard time and say that they can't feel any "lack of power" demand that they check the PIN to verify. In and out in an hour also.
