Need some help here with my Max

Recently purchased a 2000 Max GXE and check engine light is on. Came back as o2 sensor and I've doing a lot of research to find good ones at good prices. So far I've found Denso for less than $55 but searching on other sites I've come across Bosch and even though they're not as cheap I was wondering if they would be more reliable. I've heard both sides on the subject before, but not on the forums.. I just figure I would get the best opinion here. (Also I was checking out sparkplugs and was wondering if I should go for some Denso or NGK Iridiums or go with plat. Maybe there's a better brand for the $$ also.)

I guess I just need some general info, new to everything and this Max is my first car.. To put it in context, I changed oil for the first time last week.

i would go with bosch for the o2 sensor because im pretty sure that what the stock one is. if you do the plugs yourself and dont mind changing them every 20-25k then go with NGK coppers. they are better conducters than platniums and much cheaper. only downside is they dont last as long. i got mine for 1.59 a piece.

as far as sensors go, get only OEM part. Pay a bit more but get reliability. Contact Dave B he may give you a good price. btw I also have a 2k GXE and just replaced o2 sensor.

Thanks for the advice, I talked to some people and they said Denso makes great sensors.. I dunno, something about Toyota using them and whatnot. I'll keep looking for a good price on some Bosch but I'm leaning toward the Denso since I don't have a lot of $$
