I'm curious to know has anyone on their 02/03 Maximas swaped out the high beam bulb, for an HID bulb. If so...what size did HID bulb did you use and what is the size of the HID low beam bulb? How difficult was the swap.

You'd need a 9005 retrofit kit. I believe I've seen them. Search google.

Question though....WHY?

separate HID for the high beam doesnt make much sense cause it takes time for them to heat up and work right. Also, its bad for HIDs to go on and off a lot

I was just curious to know. I was thinking about getting an 02/03 and I was just wonder what the pros and cons were. I see now that its a concern about the HID's needing time to warm up, and its not good for them to switch on/off. So there goes my future mod LOL
