yes they will fit but they are pretty expensive. i think brand new they rum like a thousand for a pair. there is some splicing of wires and what not but if you got the money it is worth it. plus you get HID's. many have done this but many have switched from 02-03 headlights to 01 headlights b/c the newer headlights get stolen a lot up north

no prob. just trying to be helpful. i think that HIDs by themselves is a good idea though they are expensive. like 480 for dual H4 kit but i am about to by one so if you aer interested i think we can get a better deal.

Crazy.. I didnt think Maxima headlights were getting stolen THAT easily. I know the Acura TL's were being lifted, but wow.. Maxima too huh?

Oddly enough, I was on another forum discussing HID conversions and look what one of the lesser enthusiasts had to say:

"you want HIDs? just jack one off a maxima and you can make it fit. easy...maxima HIDs fit almost everything. just call it "universal" HIDs. im gettin a set from my boy for 2 billz...for all the older people...$200. spendin 5 billz to 1 g on new ones is stupid. just scope out a nice new maxima and proceed to relieve it off it's eyes and youre set! jus thave someone watch your back in case the owner goes out for his midnight stroll and knocks you over the head."

ah man, thats just wrong wrong wrong. How many users here have had their headlamps stolen? I would look into using special bolts and possibly adding some more supports on the bottom of the headlamp, to try to secure them even more.

Bah, I bet that wont work either.. because most theives arent considerate of the headlamps, they just want the HID, ballasts, and MAYBE the reflector -- they'de destroy the lamp with no care about the car either.

<sigh>

Has NISSAN taken any steps to do anything about this? Has Acura taken any steps to solve their headlamps getting stolen? Man, what a bad situation.

you are treading on thin water. people are very swore about this and it has been brought up many times. do a search about stolen HIDs. People have done everything that they can think of but it still is not enought to stop them.

HUH... THAT'S interesting. Interested in showing us what forum this came from?
I'm wondering if all the HID thefts originated from people finding out about it on a few internet forums... could make a rather interesting wide-scale investigation... and hopefully explain why that **** goes on around the NY/NJ area like crazy but nowhere else (?)
