Headlight assembly removal

Hi, Does anyone know how to remove the headlight assembly on
an 2000 Maxima ? I got the two bolts on the top, but there is
still a catch somewhere. Thanks anyone.

After removing the 2 bolts on the top, just pull hard but straight out.

I am replacing fog light bulbs, I tried to get to them from the bottom but the screws for the fender underneath are so rusted they just got stripped so i'm trying to go in by removing the headlight assembly. ive been trying to get this headlight assembley out for a week. I have a 2001 maxima, there are 3 bolts. Ive removed the 3 bolts but the assembly will not budge, there is some kind of clip also. I dont want to break the clip, tried to unlatch it but i cant. does anyone have info on how to remove the headlight assembly. Thanks

The info in this thread is really all you need. After you remove the top 2 bolts just pull really hard, I can't make the instructions any clearer than that.

You're going to have to drill and replace those bolts for the skid plate to get to the fog lights from underneath, or just put it back together with zip ties.
