I've checked all the car site and for the most part they say my car is worth anywhere between $13,300 and $14,300 and that's without adding any extra's on those sites. I was wondering if anyone might be able to give me a better idea of what to list my car for. Any suggestions would be helpful.

First off it's a 2k (Auto) Black Maxima SE/Grey Leather with 50,000 miles. A new transmission was just installed about a month ago. I just bought 4 new 17" Falken ZIEX ZE 512 tires which got a great rating at 1010tires.com. The car is an SE with all the extra's of a GLE, meaning leather heated seats, power both sides, climate control, moon roof, bose w/sub, etc. The car has never been smoked in and the interior is pretty damn clean.

Now for the aftermarket mods, I have a JWT Pop Charger (cone intake), Greddy Evolution Catback Exhaust, Full Stillen Aero Kit, Courtesy Nissan Front Strut Bar, Hyper Whites(headlamps & foglamps), Clear Side Marker (Blinker Re-wire), AE Chrome Door Sills, 3M Window Tint, Blue LED Gothic Alarm Scanner .

Most of these parts where just added to make the car look pretty, I'm not the type of guy to really race around town. I never really beat on the car so it is in very good condition. Just looking for some honest feedback. Thanks.

 

I'd say 13.5k would be a reasonable asking price. The mods wont fetch you much more unless you decide to sell them separately.

 

So then, how DID the tranny go bad??

Unless you can sell it to a fellow enthusiast who appreciates and knows the value of the mods, you won't get any more than book value for the car. I'd say about $13,000.

 

Good question BILL but I would say ask Nissan for the answer because I don't have a clue why it went bad. What I do know is that they felt it was nothing that I caused and fixed it for free.

it was probably related to the slippage in 1st gear or something.

you mean extras of a GLE. GXE is the bare base model.
