Car still pulls right after alignment
Car still pulls right after alignment
I checked the specs of the alignment. They adjusted the toe and everything appears to be within the acceptable range. All of my tires are equal pressure. I realize most roads are crowned but with roads that lean left, it just takes longer for my car to eventually start drifting to the right again.
Any ideas?

my wife's chic-friend and her 2003 SE Autotragic? pulls to the right...
when you floor it, it REALLY PULLS to the right...
I think it has to do with the unequal length thingy-ma-bobbers going from the tranny to the front wheels (the cause of massive torque steer in our beloved 4 door friend)
I think it's just a hardly noticeable design flaw on every Max...
if you don't think you are experiencing this, let go of your wheel in a WIDE OPEN parking lot while doing 15 mph, and I gaurantee you it pulls a little to the right...even after alignment, and tire balance, and rotation...etc....

ive got the same problem... took it to the dealership to have an alignment done but that didnt fix it.. then took it to tire kingdom and told them i had an alignment done at the dealership but it still pulled..so they put it on their computer and did the alignment again.. the tech there said the caster was off but nissan doesnt have specs that correct this. he said i could take it to a body shop and have them bang on the struts to fix this??? i thought that was odd ... i didnt do this so when i took it back to the dealership and talk to the svc mgr he said most new cars do this these days.. when i said said that seems a bit odd hes like ive been doing this for 35 yrs and i know what im talkin about...
so unfortunately i just deal with this...

same happens to my 2k gle took it to nissan and they replaced 2 front tires and did an alignment. helped a little but still pulls. i thought it was the streets but i took it to the runway in floyd bennett field in brooklyn and it was pulling alot. my car is with nissan now to fix it. i will get it back monday and tell you what they did if they did anything at all
it's not just a nissan thing they do have a slight crown in the road i work at a local nissan dealership (dont ask for discounts please i cant give any) most dealerships will accomodate that and put a little more caster on the left side so it doesnt pull but most mechanics either dont know about it or refuse to do it. I will say be carefull on aligments most shops will just do the usual "set the toe and let it go" i've seen it all the time it's just something else to deal with. I would just mention the caster at an aligment shop and they should be able to take care of it.
all alignments are done so that it pulls to right little.... that is normal..... that is to stop the head on accident incase of driver falls asleep or wheels don't turn... so that the car can go off to side instead of going across the median.....
