fstb which one?

hey i want to get a fstb for my 2k gle. i know stillen is a great brand but i see generic brands selling on ebay for like 15 bucks. i dont understand what the difference between the 2 are. someone in a performance shop said that they are all just a peice of metal that makes thr front end more rigid. i only want the best for my car so i dont mind the stillen price tag but not if all bars are the same and you pay for the stillen brand. any help is appreciated, thanx

It appears that they all work. If looks count to you choose that way. The Stillen is not particularly great - the design could be better, but somehow that writing on it makes it cost a lot more. If I had waited until the others were available I'd never have bought the Stillen.

otto, cm, stillen, search feature, they're all the search feature same, really you're just paying search feature more money for the same product, i would say get the search feature otto, it can be had for around 50 search feature bucks, or if you like shiny search feature things, get the custommaxima.com one

try clicking the search button above, do it before you ask any questions, the natives around this place are pretty mean about that stuff. I spent 3 months on this forum before i asked a question. of course i knew how to search. there are so many posts about this topic already, i'm glad a few people were able to reply without trying to destroy you. just a heads up, search before asking a question.

peace, welcome to the org

I would stay away from the custommaxima one. I had serious clearence issues and had to cut into my hood insulation and move a clamp that holds the windshield wiper hoses. It was pusing up on my hood. not good.

Go with Bomz, it is the cheapest out there and it does the same thing all the others do, plus it comes in a highly polished chrome finish.

I only paid 25 for mine.

I'll second the otto. Excellent bar. Just dont spray strong abrasive material on it like my stupid butt.
