What to do with fogs? Help me out..
I need some advice on what to do with my fog lights. I was going to get the yellow tint for them, keep the stock bulbs, and go for the IS300 look. Then I got my clear side markers with hyper white bulbs, and the stock, somewhat yellow fogs don't match them at all, so I don't know about that look any more. Should I get some hyper whites for the fogs, too, so they match HID's and clears? If so, which companies would you recommend and which wattage do I need? Or should I get another type of bulb that matches the HID's better than hyper white? Or stick with the original idea of getting yellow tint or Crystal Ion bulbs? I say or, because I heard that if you get yellow tint AND aftermarket bulbs, the tint will become burnt over time.
So, any ideas?

1 week later, I think it's safe to say the ion crystals won't burn the film.

I put in some MTEC H3 HID's and they look great. I put in the driver-side first and turned them on just to see the difference - absolutely amazing how much better they look. I also have Polargs in the parking lights, so it has a nice blue/white across the whole front now.
What film?
Ok, I'm a Maxima Enthusiast but a car idiot. What film are you guys talking about burning? I have (soon had) the same problem, hate the fogs so I ordered the PIAA Super White Bulbs (55 watts with 85 watts output).
My assumption is just replace the bulb and that is it. Do I need to do more to protect some film or melting or something?

Where did you get your Polargs and what was the price? That is my next mod, parking lights).
I got the Polargs on e-bay. I think the MTEC fog lights are actually closer to the Xenon tint than the Polarg parking lights, but they still look a ton better than the stock bulbs. You may consider getting the chrome bulbs that light up in hyperwhite for the parkings lights so you don't see any blue tint when the lights aren't on. I recently bought a pair of blue-tints for the reverse lights - they looked great when on, but you could see a definite blue tint to the whole lens when off. Took 'em back the same day.
